A substance that have particular chemical properties. Strongest acids are those that 100 percent ionized in water. In our society acids considers only a bad thing but not at all. All acids have some beneficial qualities.

List of All Strongest Acids in the World

Here we discuss some important and strongest acids and their uses in daily life.

1. Sulfuric Acid

Sulphuric_Acid Sulfuric acid is one of the important industrial chemicals. A vast quantity of sulfuric acid makes every year. In 1990 40 million tons were produced in the United States. It plays a significant role in the production of all manufactured goods. The primary use is in the manufacture of fertilizers e.g. superphosphate of lime and ammonium sulphate.

It uses in the automobile industry. Sulfuric acid uses in lead acid batteries that help release an electron for generation of current. It is also used in the manufacture of chemicals like in making hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulphate salts, synthetic detergents, drugs. Sulfuric acid uses in petroleum refining to prevent impurities and other refining goods. Also you can use it  in processing metals like in cleaning iron and steel. It stores in the glass jar because it reacts with many metals. It reacts with many plastics. Its reaction also depends on the concentration of sulphuric acid.

2. Hydrochloric Acid

It is a strong acid that uses in laboratory agent. In our body, hydrochloric acid plays an important role. Hydrochloric acid lowers the ph in our stomach. Gastric juice is hydrochloric acid that helps in digestion. In other uses, it uses in the production of chloride, fertilizers, dyes textile, photographic and rubber industries.

Hydrochloric acid is corrosive to eyes, skin and mucous membranes. It is non-inflammable and colorless. Their acute inhalation may cause irritation of eyes, nose and respiratory tract. The severe cause is ulceration and scarring in humans. Long-term effects of hydrochloric acid may cause gastritis and chronic bronchitis. It can damage to stomach and esophagus during ingestion that lead to nausea, diarrhea and vomiting.

3. Nitric Acid

Strongest AcidsNitric acid includes in strongest acid. Their main use is in fertilizers. One interesting fact that rainwater is naturally acidic, and it contains small amount nitric acid concentration. It seems colorless liquid but sometimes it may have a yellowish color. It dissolves metal like iron, copper and silver.

Nitric acid uses in raw material production. It is important in chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Most common use is to make fertilizer. It reacts with ammonium and makes a fertilizer that called ammonium nitrate. Nitric acid is also used as liquid fueled rockets. It is used in purification of gold. It uses in perfumes and dyes.

These three acids consider the strongest acid besides their choleric acid and some others are consider strong acid. But those are not completely ionized.
